Hotel Kavia Plus - Cancun

wonderful stay at hotel kavia with a beautiful rooftop pool and friendly staff during our trip

Enjoyed spacious room, modern amenities, helpful staff. Rooftop pool provided lovely relaxation spot. Breakfast was basic but satisfied our needs. Location convenient for exploring local eateries and shops.

We stay in a double room quite often, it is modern and brand-new. There is lots of tasty food for breakfast. The staff are very amiable people at the reception desk...

The location was perfectly comfortable and decent for exploring this calm area, right by convenience stores. Found Picana & Grill near the hotel where I had supper. I was offered a room with magnificent views of terrace.

The rooftop pool was fantastic, offering fine views and a relaxing atmosphere. Every day, I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, although the options were limited. The Standard King Room was a modern retreat with a comfortable bed.

it's modern and incredibly beautiful hotel, enjoyed it, but the view is ugly. the property has the restaurant for breakfast. the service is great, includes safe parking. and the pool is amazing. this is a hotel go-to for cancun!

Unexpected challenges in comfort

Finding our way through downtown Cancun offered unique local experiences. The hotel's proximity to the ADO bus station made our travel convenient for day trips.

Unfortunately, we faced issues with a moldy smelling room that lacked proper ventilation. The cramped breakfast offerings left us wanting more variety.

One major downside was that the air conditioner in my room barely worked, making my stay uncomfortable during the hot nights.

No wardrobe or chairs in the room limits how you can live out of your suitcase. The room's layout positions the sink in the room rather than the bathroom, and the balcony setup felt wasted with no furniture and a smoking prohibition. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room adequately, staying at a balmy 76 degrees regardless of the setting. The pool's water clarity raised concerns at first, and the towel retrieval system is inconvenient, requiring ID as a deposit instead of a simple grab-and-go option.

Absolutely underwhelmed by the service. I expected a room with a window but got a glorified bomb shelter, only to find hallway lights keeping me awake all night. The pool was as wading as it gets, very dirty and no one bothered to clean it. I almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

The location was ideal-within walking distance to the ADO bus station. The staff were attentive, always ready to assist with any questions I had.

It was just a proper fit for strolling around in Cancun with attractive and competitive value for money. I appreciated the quick access to local eateries nearby, made meals easy and enjoyable. Always carry some cash for tips and local transactions.

The king room here has all the basic facilities you need for a comfortable stay during our visit.
